Privacy Policy
Effective July 1, 2026
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run CueSpace, we never sell your data or use it for ads, everything is encrypted, and you can delete it all from inside the app.
-
1. What we collect
Your email and a hashed password (or a Google/Apple sign-in token). Optionally, a name, phone number, and photo if you add them in Account settings. And, of course, the content you create: cues, spaces, and completion history. We also keep basic diagnostics (crash logs, app version) to fix bugs.
-
2. How we use it
To run the service: syncing your cues across devices, delivering the notifications you set, restoring your data on a new phone, and answering you when you write to support. That's the whole list.
-
3. What we never do
We don't sell your data. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't read your cues for marketing. Your reminder to "pick up the prescription" is nobody's business but yours.
-
4. Payments
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation that you subscribed — never your card number, billing address, or bank details.
-
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the small number of people who operate the service, and only when needed.
-
6. Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account (Settings → Account → Delete account) permanently removes your account, cues, spaces, and history within 30 days. Backups age out on the same schedule.
-
7. Your rights
You can view and edit your profile in the app, and delete everything yourself. Want a copy of your data, or a correction we can't do in-app? Email us and we'll sort it out — usually within a few days.
-
8. Children
CueSpace isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
-
9. Changes
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
-
10. Visiting cuespace.app
This section is about our website. It is separate from the app: nothing here touches your cues, and none of it is linked to your CueSpace account.
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful — how many visits a page gets, roughly where in the world visitors are, and which links they follow. Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser and sends that information to Google, who processes it on our behalf. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored, and we have turned off Google's advertising and cross-site features, so this is never used to build an advertising profile of you.
None of it runs until you say yes. The first time you visit we ask, and nothing is loaded and no cookie is set while we wait for your answer. If you decline, we load nothing at all and remember only that you declined. Declining costs you nothing — the site behaves identically either way.
You can change your mind whenever you like: . Choosing "Decline" also deletes the analytics cookies already in your browser.
We host our own fonts and images rather than loading them from someone else's network, so apart from the analytics described above, visiting this site makes no requests to any third party.
